Cancellation policy

This policy applies to subscriptions sold by CheckoutWorks, operated by GALE INNOVATIONS LLC, including the Shopify Monthly Retainer.

Billing and Renewal

When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method the subscription price shown at checkout. The first charge is made when you place your order. Your subscription then renews automatically every month on your billing date, at the same price, until you cancel.

How to Cancel

You can cancel at any time before your next billing date. Cancel from your customer account, or email hello@checkoutworks.dev and we will cancel it for you.

After you cancel, no further payments are taken. Your subscription stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for.

Skipping a Month

If you skip a billing date from your customer account, you are not charged for that month and the service is paused until your next payment.

First-Month Guarantee

If the subscription is not right for your store, contact us within 30 calendar days of your first payment and we will refund your first monthly payment. This guarantee applies to the first month of your first subscription.

Renewal Payments

Renewal payments are not refundable once the new billing month has started, except where the law requires otherwise.

Price Changes

If we change the price of your subscription, we will email you before the new price applies, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will try the payment again and may pause work until it succeeds. If the payment remains unpaid, we may cancel the subscription.

Work Delivered Under a Subscription

Everything we deliver stays in your store after you cancel. If our code ever breaks, we will fix it for free, provided it has not been modified by third parties, apps, or theme updates.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method, normally within 10 business days. Your payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Statutory Rights

This policy does not limit mandatory rights under applicable law. Where the law provides a longer cancellation period or another remedy, that law applies.
